A noticeably vintage character that would compliment any of the older acoustic guitars or banjos.  This one is no slouch and has plenty of leather and backbone to comfortably carry the heavy electrics. Although it may appear to be black, the color is very dark brown.

Shoulder Piece Size 12 3/4" long by 2 3/4" wide where it will cross your shoulder. Tapers to 2 1/4" on the front and 2” on the back.
Shoulder Piece Leather Soft, supple, and thoroughly broken in heavy duty saddle leather.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew, hand sewn into hand punched needle holes. Dark oil leather buckstitching worked thru diagonally cut slits.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium/high. No serious issues but in guitar years this one looks like it did a shit-ton of gigging.
Shoulder Piece Notables The curved shape favors the left shoulder of a right handed player and the gently curved shape would work fine for a headstock attachment if needed. Hand cut from a slightly larger piece of older leather with dressed and burnished edges all around. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom.

Strap Width 5/8"
Strap Leather Soft, supple, and well broken in.
Strap Distressed Level Medium/high. Well aged with a character that melts into the shoulder piece.
Strap Notables Lightly skived the full length to a heavy 1/8”, with original dressed and burnished edges on top. I dressed and burnished the new bottom edges and slicked the back side smooth. The strap guide was made from a piece of the rein and keeps it centered on the curved shoulder piece.
