Guitar/Banjo #1133

An all-around gorgeous strap. Beautifully done original hand tooling on a comfortably curved shoulder piece that would render a heavy guitar or banjo almost weightless. This was an old breast collar and, attached to a heel button on a guitar or the bracket bolts of a banjo, it will be one comfy shoulder piece. The curved shape is symmetrical and it could be set up for either a left or right handed player. If you’re a southpaw, be sure to let me know.

Strap Style Western Rein
Strap Width 5/8"
Strap Leather Broken in soft and supple and top shelf quality. Lightly skived to level out the thickness, with original hand dressed and burnished top edges. I dressed and burnished the bottom edges and slicked it smooth on the back side.
Strap Distressed Level Medium. This one has seen some long days on the range but is in great shape with a few minor nicks and scrapes. It looks black but I believe the color is actually dark oil.
Strap Notables A few inches on each were skived thin enough to make a neat and flexible connection to the shoulder piece and securely fastened with a black leather lacing thong.
