This one is a Tony Rice Style strap – named after one of the greatest bluegrass guitarists of all time – and the Woodstock model 🙂 50 years ago I volunteered to help dismantle the stage after the Woodstock concert and I found this one laying on the ground under the stage. Now I know this ain’t true and you know this ain’t true, but you might successfully pitch it to a few unsuspecting musicians if enough alcohol is involved.

|Shoulder Piece Size||No shoulder piece.|
|Strap Style||Cinch strap.|
|Strap Width||1 7/8"|
|Strap Leather||Originally this was a cinch strap that held the saddle and accompanying rider firmly on the horse’s back. This is an old one with plenty of vintage character and would look at home on an older instrument. I skived down the original thickness to a heavy 1/8” and slicked the back side smooth.|
|Strap Distressed Level||Medium/high. We’ve got wrinkles, color shading, some surface checking, and a few small areas where the mice nibbled while it laid under the stage. Other than that, it’s rock solid, soft and supple, and ready for another 50 years.|
|Strap Notables||Stitched just above where a heel button hole would be located is the Universal Peace Sign and this one looks like something someone might have cut out of their Timberland boots with a pocket knife. Includes a custom set up to the buyers specs for length and attachment points. The strap has buckle adjustment holes every 2 1/2” apart and some of those may be utilized for end button holes. Additional photos showing close details and a shot of the entire strap sent on request.|
