Shoulder Piece Size 12” long by 2 3/4" wide in the middle where it will cross your shoulder.
Shoulder Piece Leather Absolute top shelf, butter soft, age darkened harness leather.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew hand sewn into hand punched needle holes.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium/low. A handsome character that would be a home with blue jeans and a flannel shirt.
Shoulder Piece Notables Hand cut and shaped from a larger piece of well broken in vintage harness leather. Hand dressed and burnished edges and lined with new suede on the bottom. The strap slots fit the rein strap snug enough to keep things from sliding around while in use. Lined on the bottom with new suede leather.

Strap Leather Butter soft and well broken in. Top shelf leather and skived to 3/16”. Dressed and burnished edges and slicked smooth on the bottom.
Strap Distressed Level Medium/low. Looks and feels like it was cloned from the shoulder piece leather.
Strap Notables The rein strap is excellent quality and was stamped “Schutz Bros.” - making quality western tack since 1946. I cut off the maker mark, thinned the leather, and used it as the strap guide on the shoulder piece. Close-up photo sent on request. Includes a custom fit for length and attachment points to the buyers specifications.
