Giddy-up. Brutally rugged saddle leather re-purposed into a strap capable of handling any guitar or banjo. One end of the rein strap had been severely chewed by a disgruntled horse so, depending upon the attachments, I think 56” or so would be about the maximum length I could get.

Shoulder Piece Leather Heavy duty and butter soft.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew, hand stitched into hand punched needle holes. Black leather buckstitching worked thru hand punched diagonal slits - then thoroughly hand rubbed it to give it an aged patina and character.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium/low.
Shoulder Piece Notables Hand cut and shaped from a larger piece of well used saddle strap. Hand dressed and burnished edges and lined wall to wall with new suede on the bottom. Slotless shoulder piece is held firmly to the rein strap with 2 strap guides made from skived sections of an old rein. This allows the full surface area of the shoulder piece to contact your shoulder.

Strap Leather Appropriately skived to a heavy 3/16” to suit the shoulder piece. Super nice harness leather - exceptional quality and broken in butter soft.
