This is an original chest plate from an old  pulling collar. The curved shape is symmetrical and it could be set up for either a left or right handed player. If you’re a southpaw, be sure to let me know.

Shoulder Piece Size 12" long by 2 3/4" wide where it will cross your shoulder, tapering to 2 1/4” at both ends.
Shoulder Piece Leather Age darkened harness leather retired in the prime of its life. Thick and broken in butter soft.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew hand sewn into hand punched needle holes.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium/low and zero issues.
Shoulder Piece Notables This one would be most comfortable attached to a heel button on a guitar or the bracket bolts of a banjo. The matching vintage leather strap guide keeps the rein strap centered on the curved shoulder piece. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom.

Strap Leather Butter soft and top shelf quality. Lightly skived to level out the thickness, with original hand dressed and burnished top edges. I dressed and burnished the bottom edges and slicked it smooth on the back side.
Strap Distressed Level Medium. This one has seen some long days on the range but is in great shape with a few minor nicks and scrapes. It looks black but the color is actually dark oil.
Strap Notables Embossed with a traditional Barbed-wire pattern the full length. The embossing is evident on the front of the strap but worn down where it was held onto for many years. Includes a custom set-up for your specified length and attachment points.
