Guitar/Banjo #2032

A rock solid strap and a nice piece of eye candy for a pre-war dreadnought. Would have no trouble handling a heavy banjo or electric guitar.

Shoulder Piece Size 11 1/2” long and 2 3/8” wide.
Shoulder Piece Leather Soft and supple harness leather. Excellent quality and well used.. Fully dressed and burnished around the outside edge.
Shoulder Piece Stitching New artificial sinew hand sewn into hand punched needle holes that run around the full circumference.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level High. Well broken in with a very noticeable vintage character. There is a surface cut visible in the photo - left side just above the bottom strap guide - that will not impact the use or function or the strap. Close-up photo sent on request.
Shoulder Piece Notables Slotless shoulder piece. No strap slots are cut into the shoulder piece allowing the full bottom surface area to contact the shoulder. Hand shaped rounded ends and lined wall to wall on the bottom with new suede leather.
Strap Style Western roping rein with hand-twisted braiding. The braiding is 33” long and when finished some of the braiding will be visible in front of the shoulder piece and some behind it. The braided section was cut into 5 strips and hand twisted somehow into the braid by the original craftsman. I’m a banjo player and not near smart enough to do this.
Strap Width 7/8” on the ends, 5/8” across the braid.
Strap Leather Excellent quality and beautifully finished.
Strap Distressed Level High. Well used with a definite vintage vibe.
Strap Notables The 2 strap guides hold the shoulder piece tightly to the strap and things won’t slide around when in use. Includes a custom fit for length and attachment points. Buttonholes will be punched directly into the ⅞” wide strap.
