Artificial sinew, hand sewn into the hand punched needle holes. Stitching runs around the full perimeter of the shoulder piece. Black leather buckstitching worked thru diagonally cut slits.

Medium. Beautifully aged leather with no checking or noticeable cuts, nicks, or scrapes.

Hand shaped with dressed and burnished edges. The snug fitting strap guides (made from vintage black harness leather) keep the shoulder piece from sliding on the strap unless it is intentionally moved. Lined wall to wall on the bottom with new suede leather.
