Old, well used, western harness leather – the good stuff. Thick, well broken in, and super supple.

Artificial sinew hand sewn into hand punched needle holes. Oiled leather buckstitching worked thru hand punched diagonal slits - then thoroughly hand rubbed it to give it an aged patina.

Medium. A close inspection shows plenty of vintage character but still nice enough for a new instrument.

The shape is symmetrical and would be fine for either a right or left handed player as well as a headstock or heel button attachment. If you’re a lefty, make sure you let me know so I set it up properly for you. Fully dressed and burnished edges and lined wall to wall with new suede leather on the bottom.
