Shoulder Piece Size 16" long by 2 1/2" wide where it will cross your shoulder, tapering to 1 7/8” wide at the tail end.
Shoulder Piece Leather Top shelf harness leather. This was one side of an equestrian breast collar in a previous life. If you’re a left hander interested in a similar strap, let me know.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew hand sewn into the original needle holes.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Low. Lightly used with zero issues.
Shoulder Piece Notables Thick, supple, and plenty of backbone to handle any instrument. The curved shape favors the left shoulder of a right handed player. Since the shoulder piece does not slide on the strap to adjust position, I’ll need an additional measurement so that I can properly locate it for you. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom.
Strap Style Western Rein
Strap Width 5/8"
Strap Leather Soft and supple harness leather. Skived slightly to level out the thickness to 3/16”. All edges dressed and burnished and slicked smooth on the back side.
Strap Distressed Level Medium. No cuts, nicks, or battle scars – just a handsome, age darkened western rein strap.
Strap Notables I skived a few inches on each end where it attaches to the shoulder piece to make a neat and flexible connection. Each end is securely fastened with a leather thong. Includes a set-up to your specs for length and attachment points.
