Status Available
Shoulder Piece Size 11 1/2” long by 2 7/8” wide.
Shoulder Piece Leather Thick and supple harness leather. Well aged, rock solid and in fine shape.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew hand sewn into hand punched needle holes. It took a long evening and a full bottle of the missus’ wine to properly lay out and sew the stitching pattern so everything looked balanced.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium. Subtle vintage character with no checking, cuts, or dings.
Shoulder Piece Notables This was formerly an adjustable saddle strap for a pack horse and the original buckle holes for a two-prong buckle are quite visible. I punched the holes thru the suede leather lining on the bottom in case you needed to check the color of your shirt or needed a little ventilation for the summer gigs.
Strap Style Western Rein
Strap Width 5/8"
Strap Leather Really nice quality old leather. Butter soft and strong with all original top, bottom and side edges.
Strap Distressed Level Medium. An obvious veteran lacking any visual issues, ‘cept for a small surface scrape that will end up past the back end of the shoulder piece. It’s not worth a second thought. In fact, forget I even mentioned it.
Strap Notables Fits pretty snug in the strap guides and nothing should slide around without help.
