Guitar/Banjo #2174

This one is a Tony Rice Style strap made from very strong and very supple latigo leather. It’s sturdy enough to hold up most any instrument but would look best on well played acoustic. But it won’t make you play like Tony.

Strap Leather Originally this was the strap that held the saddle and accompanying rider firmly on the horse’s back. Over many years it has been tugged and pulled as tightly as possible transforming it into a soft and supple piece of leather. It’s a solid 1/8" thick and unskived with all original surfaces and the backside has been worn smooth during its previous life.
Strap Distressed Level Medium/high with plenty of character, lacking any other cosmetic issues.
Strap Notables This one has earned the leather Black Diamond Insignia, which signifies absolutely nothing. Nor has it anything to do with guitar strings or skiing. Additional photos showing close details sent on request. The maximum buttonhole to buttonhole length I could get would be about 51”.
