Strap Leather Brutally strong and very supple latigo leather. Originally this was the strap that held the saddle and accompanying rider firmly on the horse’s back. Over many years it has been tugged and pulled as tightly as possible transforming it into a soft and supple piece of leather. It’s unskived at the original thickness around 1/8” and the backside is worn smooth. This is an exceptionally nice piece of vintage leather and simply a pleasure to handle.

Strap Notables This one has earned the “Diamond in the Rough” leather insignia, which signifies absolutely nothing. Includes a custom set up to the buyers specs for length and attachment points.
