This came off an old mule harness that was retired after 20 years of plowing the farm fields. I scrubbed the dickens out of it and reconditioned the leather then hand rubbed in multiple applications of Neatsfoot Oil. It now looks unbelievably good. Heavy, thick, and very soft and supple.

Hand shaped rounded corners with hand dressed and burnished edges. Lined wall to wall on the bottom with new suede leather. Slotless shoulder piece – the rein strap is held firmly to the shoulder piece with two matching leather strap guides allowing the full bottom surface to contact your shoulder.
