Strap Leather Originally this was the strap that held the saddle and accompanying rider firmly on the horse’s back. Over many years it has been tugged and pulled as tightly as possible transforming it into a soft and supple piece of leather. It’s lightly skived to a heavy 1/8” in thickness and the backside is slicked smooth.
Strap Distressed Level Medium with plenty of wrinkles.. Starting 12” from the front end of the strap are the 10 original buckle holes spaced 4” apart, which are almost always present on the old cinch straps.
Strap Notables Stitched just above where the heel button hole would be located is an oversize leather Dunlop shaped guitar pick, which looks kinda cool but signifies absolutely nothing. Includes a custom set up to the buyers specs for length and attachment points.
