14" long by 2 3/4" wide in the middle and tapering to 2 1/8” on each end. Cut from a 15” by 4” piece of vintage leather. Hand shaped with fully dressed and burnished edges.

Very old harness leather. Strong and broken in butter soft. The color is very dark oil and could easily pass for black.

Medium/high. No serious issues but has certainly put in a lot of time on the job. This was part of a 1940’s mule harness.

Tough as nails harness leather. Soft, supple, and heavy duty. Lightly skived to level out the thickness. Hand dressed and burnished edges and slicked smooth on the bottom.
