Strap Style Originally this was the strap that held the saddle and accompanying rider firmly on the horse’s back. Over many years it has been tugged and pulled as tightly as possible transforming it into a soft and supple piece of leather. It’s been skived to a solid 3/16" in thickness.
Strap Width 1 3/4"
Strap Leather Latigo leather. Brutally strong and very soft and supple.
Strap Distressed Level Medium/low with a wrinkled surface.
Strap Notables Each end has 8 original buckle holes spaced 3” apart. Additional photos showing close details sent on request. This is a long one and the maximum buttonhole to buttonhole length could reach 62”.
