No strap slots. The rein strap is held firmly to the shoulder piece by the 2 straps guides made from matching vintage leather, allowing the full bottom surface to contact your shoulder. Hand shaped rounded corners, dressed and burnished edges, and lined wall to wall with new suede leather on the bottom.
