A solid, good lookin’ mandolin strap. One end of the rein strap was badly chewed by some disgruntled horse and the maximum length from the very end of the headstock/scroll loop to the last button hole would be about 54” which should fit most players.

Shoulder Piece Size 7 1/2” long by 1 3/8" wide where it will cross your shoulder, tapering slightly towards the tail.
Shoulder Piece Leather Beautiful leather, top shelf quality and very soft and supple.
Shoulder Piece Stitching Artificial sinew, hand sewn into hand punched needle holes.
Shoulder Piece Distressed Level Medium. Well used with no checking, battle scars, or other issues.
Shoulder Piece Notables The curved shape and rounded ends were hand shaped and the edge was dressed and burnished the full perimeter. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom. The matching vintage leather strap guide was made from an old saddle tie and keeps the rein strap centered on the curved shoulder piece. The curved shape favors the left shoulder of a right handed player.

Strap Width Just about 1/2".
Strap Leather Super nice leather with a look and feel that mirrors the shoulder piece. Very soft and supple. Hand dressed and burnished edges the full length and slicked smooth on the underside. Leveled out to 1/8” in thickness.
Strap Distressed Level Medium. A ding or two of no concern.
Strap Notables There’s already an adjustable (+ or – 2”) headstock/scroll loop on the front which has been skived thin enough to pass around a tight scroll if necessary. The 3 hole button tab shown in the photo will get sewn on at the buyers specified length.
