The curved shape and rounded ends were hand shaped and the edge was dressed and burnished the full perimeter. The curve favors the left shoulder of a right handed player. The matching leather strap guide keeps the rein strap centered on the curved shoulder piece. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom.

Beautiful butter soft and well aged harness leather. Skived appropriately thinner for a mandolin and slicked smooth on the back side. All edges dressed and burnished.
