The curved shape and rounded ends were hand cut and shaped and the edges were dressed and burnished the full perimeter. The curve favors the left shoulder of a right handed player. The contrasting strap guide keeps the rein strap centered on the shoulder piece. New suede leather lining on the bottom.

Medium with a vintage character mirroring the shoulder piece. I skived the thickness down to a heavy 1/8” then dressed and burnished top and bottom edges and slicked the bottom smooth.
