14" long by 2 1/8" wide where it will cross your shoulder, tapering to 1 3/8” on the back end. Hand shaped ends and fully dressed and burnished edges.

The slightly curved shape would work equally well for either a headstock or heel button attachment. Since the shoulder piece doesn’t slide on the strap to adjust position I’ll also need an additional measurement to properly locate it for you. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom. Butter soft and superior quality harness leather. Skived at 3/16” with original hand dressed and burnished top edges. I dressed and burnished the bottom edges and slicked it smooth on the bottom.

A few inches on each were skived thin enough to make a neat and flexible connection to the shoulder piece and securely fastened with a row of double stitched sinew. Includes a custom set-up to your exact specs for length, attachment points, and shoulder piece placement.
