Medium. The pebbled surface has been worn down thru the years but is still quite visible. No nicks, cuts, checking or other issues.

Hand cut and shaped from a 4” wide piece of vintage leather. The leather strap guide keeps the rein strap centered on the curved shoulder piece. Lined with new suede leather on the bottom.

Superior quality oil tanned harness leather. Thick, butter soft, and age darkened. Skived slightly to level out the thickness to 3/16”. Original hand dressed and burnished top edges. I also dressed and burnished the new bottom edges and slicked the back side smooth.

Medium. Beautiful vintage character with some surface wrinkles and worn smooth surface. This one has been handled a lot.

The rein strap fits snug in the carefully cut and shaped strap slots and the strap guide fits it tight. Once adjusted for position the shoulder piece will not move without intentional help.
