| Strap Style |
Western roping rein with hand-twisted braiding. The braiding is 41” long and is between 20” of flat leather on each end. When finished, some of the braiding will be visible in front of the shoulder piece and some behind it. To make the braided section, the leather was cut into 5 strips and somehow hand twisted into the braid by the original craftsman. I’m a banjo player and not near smart enough to do this.
|
| Strap Width |
7/8” across the flat section, about 1/2“ across the braid.
|
| Strap Leather |
Excellent quality dark oil harness leather. Soft and supple with well done braiding.
|
| Strap Distressed Level |
Medium. Well used with a subtle vintage character.
|
| Strap Notables |
The 2 strap guides hold the shoulder piece securely to the strap. Includes a custom fit for your specified length and attachment points. Includes a full setup for length and attachment points for any instrument. With the 41” of braiding, 45” would be the shortest length I could get buttonhole to buttonhole for standard or pickup buttonholes punched directly into the 7/8“ wide strap.
