| Strap Leather |
Soft and supple English leather. This is a heavy duty strap and still capable of stopping a horse, should one stampede thru your jam. The loop leather has been skived thin enough to pass around a scroll opening if necessary but the rest of the braided strap is all original.
|
| Strap Distressed Level |
Medium/low. Well aged but well cared for. Broken in soft and supple.
|
| Strap Notables |
Includes a full setup to your specs for length and choice of standard or pickup end buttonholes. The headstock or scroll loop is held closed with a leather thong which could be opened to slide under the strings or under the fretboard extension on an A style if needed. English reins are much shorter than western reins and the maximum length I could finish this one would be about 48”, measured from the very end of the loop.
